Tarzan is a fictional character created by Edgar Rice Burroughs in 1912.

In creating the fictional character of Tarzan, Burroughs may have been influenced by stories of children in India raised by wolves and other animals. A few of these instances actually occured. Unfortunately, children raised in this way prooved unable to acquire the use of language in later life.

Yes it is true ,it happen like in the mid 40 's ,with the disappearance of a 2 year old boy, the boy's parents thought they wouldn't see their boy again but 2 years later a group of people found a boy with some gorillas.

no it is just a legend.=Johnny Wisemuller would beg to differ! He was the greatest Tarzan ever and even spent time alone with "Jane" on the Island after the crew went home between shootings for movies. This was a no-no for that day and time. A really big no-no but who would argue with "Tarzan". He was built like a tower of muscles and yet as quick as a snake. At the end of his career, and after age got the best of him his family tried to put him in a nursing home but he was "suspended" for frightening the other clients with outbursts of his famous Tarzan yell which he did do on his own. It was a mixture of song and yodel. He would break out with his call for Jane in the middle of the night and you can imagine how disconcerting that could be for poor Mrs. Brown all nestled and sleeping quietly down the hall.==There were other Tarzan's who tried to take Johnny's Jungle, but lions ate them, elephants crushed them, snakes wrapped around them and pulled them into the depths of the bottomless pits.==Not just a legend! He was real!!=

They only occur once every 100 years or so, but in the late 1800's a boy named Victor was found in France. He walked on all fours, had long hair, yellow teeth, and long fingernails, scientists called him a salvage. He was researched by many scientists and is a common subject in the world of psychology
