the maximum amount for a psychologist/psychiatrist, was found in the new york times in 2005. the maximum is $600 and minimum is $350-$400 an hour, the number of hours for one patient is usually 2 hours. but you have about 10 patients a week and see the same patients every week, so depending on the number of patients a psychologist can make an average of $180,000 a year. minimum requirement is PHD - masters.
