The first contributor has done a good job. I would add some information that embellishes more of the history of Great Briton under the reign of Elizabeth I. Her years were 1853 to 1603.

Queen Elizabeth helped her nation by the following:

B. Helped England on its way to world power by humbling Catholic Spain;

C. Aided the Dutch revolt against Spain;

D. Encouraged sea captains such as Drake and Hawkins in their raids on Spanish trading ships and on Spanish colonies; and

E. Helped to organize England's navy that defeated what was left of the great Spanish armada.
