Here is the best answer. You can create a FREE account. you are able to create up to 4 pets from around 50 different species. Your neopets can have petpets(which is like their own pet) and petpets can have petpetpets. You can build a house in any country just about. You can play games and sell stuff for money to buy food, house idems, toys, books, petpets, petpetpets, cloths and lots of other stuff. There is an NEW NC mall which you can't use neopoints on. You have to buy Neo-Cash cards in real life. They have a hotel, too. There is SO much on neopets it would take me hours, maybe days to explain it all. And! Anothing thing is, they have rare paintbrushes so you can paint your pet any way you wish. you can even paint petpets! If you meant more like how it worked web-site wise.. Basically it is a collection of java commands (written in the form of code) that combine with each other to do everything on the website from telling what part of the layout to be displayed where, to sending the information to the right places, to saving your cookies (the information, not the snack). In short, it's all in the coding. ;) Oh, and of course the data bases that hold all of our accounts, and all of the items.. and everything else.. 1) Earn Neopoints by playing games.

2) Go on shops, then go to general store. Or Bazaar, or Plaza.

3) Choose a shop. Click on it. If your in the General Store skip this step.

4) Choose your food. Click on it and another page will appear.

5) If you have enough Neopints, you can buy it. You can haggle the price.

6) There! Now go on Inventory (Customise,it's in the drop down menu)

7) Choose a food that you bought, then a window will appear.

8) Click the drop down arrow, then choose 'feed .........'

1. You get some codestones and go to the training school located in mystery island and you pay with codestones and you choose what levels to get up

2. You can get some dubloons also which do the same things as codestones but you have to go to a different training school located in krawk island and you go to that training school

3.level up by buying the Elixir of leveling

4. level up by random events

5. level up by going to the lab ray and zapping your pet

6. level up by going to coltzan's shrine

7. level up by completing an light faerie quest

That's an easy question! Just click on the picture of your active Neopet. You will be brought to a page where you can see all of your Neopets. If you only have one, then you can't change it. If you have more than one, click on the arrow beside the Neopet you want's small picture, and choose MAKE ACTIVE from the following options you are given.
