Sonic's first official appearance on a Nintendo console was Sonic Adventure 2 Battle for GameCube and Sonic Advance for the Game Boy Advance. This was after SEGA stopped making consoles and went third party.
there is sonic heroes, sonic the hedgehog for xbox 360, sonic riders, sonic riders zero graviti, sonic DX adventure, I am not shure about sonic adventure 1 and 2 because a never have played them but i think they do have super sonic too. I think in the sega games there is super sonic too.
You only play Dreamcast games like Sonic Adventure on your Sega Dreamcast instead of Sega Saturn.
First you need a Sega Dreamcast Emulator (For original Sonic Adventure) or a Gamecube Emulator (For Sonic Adventure DX, which is an upgrade of the original). After that you need to download the emulator AND the ROM for the game you want to play. Note that the emulators are not Nintendo/Sega approved or licensed.

If you have Sonic Mega Collection Plus, then you can play it, or if you have a Sega Dreamcast. Those are the only two possibilities that I can think of.
Because that game is so immensly strange that sega decided, screw it
