The caretaker an alien spieces looking for a compatible mate, pulled ships through the rift within the delphic expanse. Voyager was pulled to the delta quadrant by the care taker and were found to be incompatible. However as the caretaker dies after this meeting the being is unable to return them to the alpha quadrant and so starts they're journey home.
They were brought there by a creature known as "The Caretaker" who was looking for a mate.
If I remember correctly, Janeway got a message from her husband in the 6th season after Reginald Barclay found a way to send messages to Voyager while it was still in the Delta quadrant. I might be wrong though, wouldn't be the first time ;)
They only got issued 1 mission by Star Fleet to the Bad Lands where they were pulled to the Delta Quadrant by an energy wave sent by "The Caretaker".
The fictional character of Starfleet captain Janeway (later admiral) was born May 20, 2332 or 2336 (depending on the source) So she was around 35 years old when Voyager was brought to the delta quadrant by the Caretaker. (actress Kate Mulgrew was born April 29, 1955 and was 40 when Star Trek Voyager premiered in 1995.)
No. If I recall Kes parted ways with the Voyager shortly before their return to the Alpha Quadrant.
Talaxian, from planet Talax in the Delta quadrant.

Barclay was part of the Pathfinder project in Starfleet that was able to contact Voyager in the Delta Quadrant. In an earlier episode, Voyager's EMH (Emergency Medical Hologram) was uploaded into an abandoned alien subspace network which connected briefly to the experimental USS Prometheus in Federation space. Voyager's EMH and Prometheus' EMH overcame a Romulan hijacking and Voyager's EMH notified Starfleet about Voyager's continuing existence in the Delta quadrant.
The Care taker or "Banjo man".

I'm not sure of the exact name, but in Star Trek: Voyager they found out that a species of dinosaurs left Earth via space travel and traveled to the Delta Quadrant.

There were two kids on Voyager: Naomi Wildman and Miral Paris They both had parents. Naomi's mother, Samantha, was on Voyager when it was sent to the Delta Quadrant. Her dad, Greskrendtregk, was on Deep Space Nine at the time. Miral's parents were both on Voyager. Their names are: B'Elanna Paris (Nee Torres) and Tom Paris. Naomi is 1/2 Human and 1/2 Ktarian. Miral is 1/4 Klingon and 3/4 Human. Did this help...?
Star Trek Voyager mainly takes place in the Delta quadrant. The U.S.S Voyager was pulled into the delta quadrant by a being called the care taker, and the series is about them trying to get home.
