First you need to know how to rap. Start playing at LOCAL clubs. And you'll get noticed (if your good enough). eventually you'll start playing at more and more non-local clubs. And if your good you'll get signed by a label probably not by Def-Jam but by some one.Then work your way up through the business until you become successful.
