This is an oddly phrased question, written in the present tense. Im not sure if you are aware, but Queen Elizabeth 1 is no longer alive and as such is no longer capable of writing any poetry. She died in 1603.

However when she was alive she DID write poetry.

One of her short peoms:

IN DEFIANCE OF FORTUNE.
