"A few news media organizations have misreported that the plaintiffs in the O.J. Simpson civil trial contend that Simpson is hiding a $1.25 million interest in a Honey Baked Ham chain.
"Any indirect interest Simpson had in a Honey Baked Ham franchise was terminated more than one year ago, in January of 1996. Simpson no longer receives any compensation of any kind as a result of any indirect interest he once had in a Honey Baked Ham franchise.
"The plaintiffs in the Rufo matter in fact contend simply that money Simpson received in connection with the termination of his indirect interest in Honey Baked Ham was not disclosed in the financial information Simpson turned over to the plaintiffs during discovery. The plaintiffs do not contend that Simpson has any current interest in Honey Baked Ham Inc."

One girlfriend had to call police because of physical abuse by Simpson. After that his own daughter had to also call 911 because her father was hitting her and being abusive.No matter the outcome of the criminal trial, Simpson has a problem that makes his living in any community difficult to impossible. I fear the day he has finished his prison sentence for armed robbery and is released once again on the world.
