The movie sequence was:
When Harry Potter realises that Lord Voldemort is going to steal the philosopher's stone and Professor McGonagall doesn't believe him, he decides to go down the trapdoor and save it himself.
In the final chamber Harry wants to find the stone first only to keep it from Voldemort, which is exactly why he is able to find the stone in the mirror.
Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley both help Harry search and obtain it, but after Voldemort flees from Harry at the end of Philosopher's, the Stone is destroyed on the orders of the Flamels so Voldemort could not try to steal it again.
After discovering that Quirrell couldn't touch him without receiving painful burns, Harry Potter managed to hold him off until Albus Dumbledore arrived to save both Harry, and the stone. It is long and complicated. He Ron and hermione decide that they are going to go into the room that they had visited when they were hiding from Filtch earlier in the day. They decide to do this be because they think that the potions master snape is after the stone. They go through a series of traps and puzzles. When they come to this giant chessboard they have to play and Ron is hurt. Hermione decides to stay with him and Harry continues on. When he gets to a room instead of snape he finds the defends against the dark arts teacher quierell. He is standing infront of the mirror of erised. When Harry looks into the mirror the stone appears in his pocket. Later in the book/movie Dumbledore says that someone who wants to get the stone, but not to use it will get it. Anyways, the teacher has Voldemort on the back of his head and that is why he was wearing a turban the whole time. When the teacher tries to kill Harry be takes his hands and touches the teacher (thats what she said) and melts his face which makes him die. However we r not done yet. Voldemort comes of the teacher's head and hoes through Harry which would have made him die, but he doesn't because he was holding the stone. Dumbledore comes and gets him out of the room and ends up destroying the stone so Voldemort does not keep going after it
The first challenge was to get past Fluffy, the three-headed dog. Once they jumped through the trapdoor they landed on Devil's Snare. After that was the flying key room which then led to the chess game. The next room involved a mountain troll (this was omitted from the movie) before the potion puzzle. The final chamber was the mirror of erised.
