No they just turned into a different band called The black parade they reformed again as my chemical romance again in Mexico city.
They didn't neccesarily change into The Black Parade, it was the name of the album and the tour. They have been My Chemical Romance, and they aren't broken up.
Everyone thought they had, but hey were just taking an extended break.
