Yugi received Slifer the Sky Dragon from Strings per the guidelines of the tournament that each Duelist must ante their most valuable card.
It depends. Slifer the Sky Dragon has the potential to be WAY better then than Obelisk, but if you have a low amount of cards in your hand, it can be quite weak. I would use Obelisk, because the attack and defence of that card won't change, Slifer's will.
According to the anime, "X000" refers to the number of cards the owner of Slifer the Sky Dragon has. That number replaces the "X" to represent the ATK.In reality, "X000" is not a legal ATK value and will most likely be replaced by a "?" if an Effect Monster version of Slifer the Sky Dragon is ever made. A "?" means that the card's ATK cannot be determined without the use of an effect. Therefore, according to TCG/OCG Rulings, that card (Slifer the Sky Dragon in this case) cannot be searched out in the Deck via cards that depend on ATK of DEF values (such as Sangan or Witch of the Black Forest).
Slifer doesn't have a code...Just japanese text. If you're talking about action replay then idk. (I have one in real life)
the real winged dragon of ra has a yellow back also a real obelisk has a blue back and the real slifer has a red back i know this because i have slifer the sky dragon plus i have seen obelisk the tormentor and the winged dragon of ra
The Winged Dragon of Ra is it's at The Final Boss card shop and maybe Slifer as well
Slifer the Sky Dragon is a God and has no code. If you are playing on the PSP get the Yu-Gi-Oh tag force 1 and it will allow you 3 copies of the Slifer card.

It clearly states that "...when this card is Normal Summoned, the effects of Spell, Trap, and Effect Monster Cards cannot be activated..."Slifer the Sky Dragon can be destroyed afterwards by cards that do not target it, such as Mirror Force, or Widespread Ruin.
