Real cheese dip will go bad in a few hours if left out of the refrigerator. If the cheese dip is in the refrigerator it should last about a week.
I left a factory-sealed package of swiss cheese out of the refirgerator for almost 24 hours. I then put it in the refrigerator. Later that day I opened it. It felt a little greasy, smelled and tasted the same.
I would not risk using it.
