Goldfish can eat cooked de-shelled peas, cooked & finely chopped green beans, raw zucchini sliced in half and placed on a veggie clip with the inside facing out, romaine lettuce on a veggie clip, or even spinach. For a treat perhaps once a month, you can also give them very finely chopped orange that has been peeled and de-seeded.
yeah , they can eat anything tbh , peas are best if its having blader issues and is swimming upside down or sideways , boil the peas and squash them into a sort of paste then pour it in the pond or aquarium i have a pond with 3 comet goldfish 2 shubunkin goldfish and they love peas and boiled carrots :)1 xxx
no, but if needed they eat mashed peas
Green peas are rich in fiber which is good for goldfish. The only thing is, with canned peas, I would be sure to rinse them thoroughly in water. The goldfish do not need the preservatives and salt that might be included in the canning process,
To get them to eat the peas you could try squishing them into pieces as this will be easier for them to eat or try putting the peas in with your normal food you give them.
I feed my catfish macaroni, frozen peas should be fine for a catfish. If the fish cant swallow something, generally it cant fit it in its mouth. Plus, they swim in their own feces, vegetables won't harm it.
Since Goldfish are omnivouros, they can eat a wide variey of food such as brine shrimp, earth worms, lettuce, de-shelled peas, oranges, krill, daphnia, tubifex worms, elodea, duckweed, blood worms, and other shrimps. However, Goldfish flakes provide the important nutrients your goldfish needs on a daily basis. Other foods should be fed once or twice a week as a treat. Also, peas are very good for goldfish and solve most consipation issues.

no its to big and crunchey for them to eat just give it fish food
you can stop feeding it for a few days. By not feeding it, you are not adding to the problem. Goldfish can easily go a week or more without eating. Next, feed it greens in the form of green peas. You can also try vegetables like romaine lettuce, boiled cucumber or carrots. makes sure the peas are small enough for the goldfish to eat.
I would not give my goldfish any shelled peas. The best food for them is Earthworms.
you can feed them peas or zucchini
Flake/Pellet food, Blood worms, brine shrimp and peeled peas, make sure you vary the diet
Goldfish primarily feed on a diet that consists of plants such as duckweed, water lettuce, water hyacinth, and elodea. They also enjoy vegetables like peas, zucchini, and lettuce. It is important to provide a varied diet to ensure they receive all the necessary nutrients for their health.
