You aren't supossed to chew gum if you have braces or dentures but it's not my choice, its yours There are special chewing gums that you can buy that specify the fact that you can chew it and it will not stick to dentures. I believe Wrigley's Spearmint is okay for dentures. Doris
Chewing gum sticks to dentures cuz its a fake grill that doesn't allow saliva to keep the gum moist ir yo' mouf!!
This is because of two things. The first is that a stick of Trident gum isn't as big as a cube of Hubba Bubba. Second, Hubba Bubba has sugar in it while Trident doesn't. This allows the Hubba Bubba to stick together and form bubbles easier.
