yes
No, a Dwarf Hamster refers to a group of different hamster breeds, and there are both males and females of these breeds kept as pets.
They can still get together even if one is old and the other is young, it just depends on the hamsters.
You can't tell the gender of a dwarf hamster by its fur. You have to pick them up and look at them near the private parts. It's a male if there is a yellow spot or two holes far away from each other. It's a female if there is no yellow spot and two holes close to each other. Hope that helped. :P
depends is is it a girl or boy & is there a mate?
Of Course She Can But Hamster's Love Being Around People But Their Not So Crazy About living With Other Hamster's. A Pet'Smart Professional Suggested Not To Do It. I supposed if you want baby hamsters in a few weeks....
Unless the dwarf hamster was in the same litter, I would advise against it. If they are not in the same litter, and you'd like to see if they get along, first put them in a neutral cage. Otherwise the hamster may feel that another male is trying to take over its territory.
You just said in your question its male so wouldn't that be the answer? ;)
They will probably fight. However, a dwarf hamster male can stay in the cage with the female. He can help raise the babies.
ive always heard that they cant because they are a cross bread. but a boy robo and a girl russian can, it makes no sense!
Boy yes, girl no. She'll become sterile at 12-14 months.
You can determine the sex of a Russian dwarf hamster by looking at the distance between the genital opening and the anus. In males, this distance is greater than in females. Additionally, males have a noticeable scent gland on their belly. If you are unsure, consult a veterinarian for assistance.
