Jellyfish uses it's stinger to stun or kill fish. After it stuns them it eats them. Some Stingers can be over 50ft long!
some do some dont
Idk XD probably not... the stingers DIE when the jelly DIES ^this person is seriously wrong. Stingers still contain poison well after death of the jellyfish. The stingers contain cells called nematocysts which can fire off toxins and sting whatever touches them even after death or separation from the actual jellyfish. Some jellyfish are extremely toxic and a single sting can kill you. As for the person who answered before me, why even bother answering if you don't know and are DEFINITELY wrong?
Yes, for example, Jellyfishes are Cnidarians. They could sting people.
I think that some types of jellyfish dont excrete.
Yes, there are some species of stingless bee; and in the others it is only the females that have stings, the males do not.
i actually dont know but youre some eigit not for knowing
Some jellyfish live only a month, but others can evade dying or aging by regenerate over and over.
Some animals have no need of them, jellyfish for instance. Others have an exoskeleton, insects are an example.
All have the potential to be deadly. Some are more deadlier than others. Box and Man o' War jellyfish happen to be the worst.
Stinging cells, called cnidocytes, contain nematocysts that release toxins when triggered. These toxins immobilize prey and can also deter predators. This mechanism allows jellyfish and sea anemones to efficiently capture and consume their food.
The Jellyfish season in Chesapeake Bay varies on the species. Some species are seen from May to October, and others are seen November to March.
