Sihabas (RAU) are important for many reasons;

5. They received the holy Qur'an through the holy lips of the last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (May peace and blessings of Allah Almighty be upon him), testified it and acted according to it.
6. When the non-believers attacked Madina Munawara, they fought against them and sacrificed their lives for the sake of Allah Karim
7. They are the direct disciples of the last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (May peace and blessings of Allah Almighty be upon him).
8. They received the teachings of Islam and practised Islam in their lives.
9. They are the most authentic source of handing down the teachings of Islam to the next generation.
10. The last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (May peace and blessings of Allah Almighty be upon him) has ordered his followers to respect, love and following the holy companions (RAU).
11. Allah Almighty has given them the certificate of His pleasure to them.
12. Anyone who hates them hate the last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (May peace and blessings of Allah Almighty be upon him), as the last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (May peace and blessings of Allah Almighty be upon him) has said. Many sayings of the the last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (May peace and blessings of Allah Almighty be upon him) can be quoted in this regards.
