∙ 14y agoProducers ,or photosynthesizers as you call them ,are the foundation for food webs and food chains ,because herbivores eat plants (producers) and carnivores eat herbivores and sometimes other carnivores. Withoutthe plants ,the herbivores would have no food. Without the herbivores ,the carnivores would have no food ,and the chain or web would be damaged. This is my theory ,did it help you?

∙ 13y agoThey make their own food so they dont need to hunt anything, firstly.
Then herbivores come to eat them then carnivores eat them etc. Plants are the foundatation as the organisms lower down the food web/chain depend on the plant.

Ecological Pyramids.
Photosynthesizers
I'm not sure, I have this for homework this week though XD
They show mainly the same info: how energy flows through predation. Food chains show a specific path in which energy flows, food webs show many different variations of paths, with many different species involved, while food pyramids show the same thing as a food chain, but in a pyramid box.
Credits to the rightful owner: Food chains follow a single path as animals eat each other. Ecological Pyramids are graphical representation of the trophic structure of ecosystem. Plants feed herbivores feed carnivores. (c) ChaCha.com (c) To the writer. Credited answer. CREDITS!
Green plants, they are called photosynthesizers
Food webs are made by a number of food chains. A trophic level is each level in a food chain where energy is transferred from a lower level to higher level. It includes producers, consumers - primary and secondary.
Because plants use the light in the process of photosynthesis to make sugars that they use for food as producers to maintain the most energy in all food chains, food webs, and food pyramids..
A food web is a network of food chains that are interconnected, showing the flow of energy through an ecosystem. It includes multiple food chains that overlap and interact, depicting the complex relationships between various organisms.
Food chains give a simplified view. They don't show how the amount of energy changes at each position in the chain.Food chains also simplify relationships among organisms. Most organisms are part of many food chains.Besides eating termites,as shown in the food chain, kinkajous eat other foods, such as frogs, beetles, scorpions, ants, and fruit.Similarly, many consumers besides jaguars eat kinkajous.
Food chains ,webs and energy pyramids all show how certain organisms in an ecosystem consume one another, or how each organism energizes another. Hope I helped :D
Producers produce energy, to put it simply. Food chains and webs are all about the flow of energy and who's getting energy from where. Since producers are at the bottom of food pyramids, they essentially produce energy.
