Chicken Nuggets were invented in the 1950's by a man named Robert Baker, a professor at Cornell University who is actually known as the "Thomas Edison of poultry" for his numerous innovations to poultry production, and was inducted into the American Poultry Hall of Fame. (Both of those statements are, seriously, 100% true)
Taken from his Wikipedia page...
"Accredited to him are more than 40 poultry, turkey and cold cut innovations, making him the "Thomas Edison of poultry". In addition to creating the chicken nugget, he is also responsible for a revolutionary way to bind breading to chicken, co-invented the machine responsible for deboning chicken and created the chicken and turkey Hot Dogs and turkey ham."

The man basically invented the way to make:
- chicken nuggets
- turkey ham
- boneless chicken
- the modern hot dog (which usually has chicken or turkey in it)
You probably eat something he invented every week and didn't even know it. :)

Oh, dude, chicken nuggets don't typically have sugar in them. They're more about that savory, crispy goodness. So, you can relax and enjoy your nuggets without worrying about your sugar intake. Like, who needs sugar when you've got nuggets, right?
