I expect I'm ranting at the converted but there is something very strange about outlawing magic mushrooms in Britain and I'd love to know the reason why it happened.

A current concern of British government (and society, we're told) is the number of young people who go out binge drinking at the weekend, get in fights, vomit everywhere and generally cause trouble for the emergency services. This costs the tax payer in the region of infinity million pounds a year.

No one has ever been hospitalised from taking magic mushrooms in Britain. No one has ever started a fight on magic mushrooms. You will either be at home, listening to music and giggling or outside looking at the trees and giggling. No one gets hurt or causes trouble.

If I walk down a country road, pick and eat a poisonous death cap mushroom and am subsequently hospitalised will charges be brought against me? Will I be liable for the vast fortune in tax payer's money I will have wasted? No, but if I pick a magic mushroom and have a pleasant trip in the countryside then I am a criminal.

F|_|ck you Tony Blair you pr|ck.

Anyway, go here and buy a kit for research purposes. And then research until you can see through time :)
