Strawberries are grown in most states in the US. I know for certain they can be grown in Massachusetts and Southern California, which are pretty different climates, so I'm pretty sure they can be grown in all states (the Wikipedia article about strawberries calls them "an easy plant to grow" and notes they "can be grown almost anywhere in the world").
