Lashes with a Wet Noodle
It's a funny way to say you should be punished (but not really). Obviously, a wet noodle wouldn't hurt anyone so 50 lashes is nothing. It's just a joke.
I believe you mean catchphrases, not catchwords. Some catchphrases that begin with wet are wetback, wet bar, wet blanket, wet dream, wet noodle, wet nurse, and wet suit.
"Make her?" Shackle her and threaten her with a wet noodle.
A wet noodle weighs slightly more than a dry one because it has absorbed water, increasing its overall mass.
The adjective limp means "not stiff" or easily manipulated in shape.A cooked noodle is limp, whereas an uncooked noodle is stiff (and breaks if bent). Another classic example of a limp item is a washcloth, especially when wet, because it is very flexible in shape.
It's generally recommended to avoid getting fake eyelashes wet with sweat, as moisture can weaken the adhesive and cause the lashes to come loose prematurely. Additionally, excessive moisture can cause the lashes to lose their shape or become misaligned. If you anticipate sweating while wearing fake eyelashes, consider using waterproof eyelash adhesive to help them stay in place. You can also try using oil-free makeup remover wipes to gently dab away any sweat around the eye area without disturbing the lashes. After sweating, allow your lashes to air dry completely before touching or manipulating them to minimize the risk of damage. If any lashes do become loose or detached due to sweat, you may need to carefully reapply them using fresh adhesive. Overall, while it's best to avoid getting fake eyelashes wet with sweat, taking proper precautions can help extend their lifespan and maintain their appearance.
I'd like to know who told you that so that I can beat them severely about the head and shoulders with a wet noodle. It's not true.
