Cookies are not really bad for you. They contain flour and sugar, butter and eggs, spices and sometimes nuts and fruit.

If any of the single ingredients is something you are allergic to, you could have a bad reaction and become sick.

If you eat too many of them, to the exclusion of good healthy foods or until you gain weight - then it is less the cookies being bad for you and more about you needing to balance your diet and become more aware of the importance of what you eat.

If the cookies are store bought, you might want to look at the side of the package for the ingredients list. Lots of chemicals and preservatives mean you are not getting the benefit of a healthy and natural diet.

But good old-fashioned, home-made, (or better yet, grandmother made) cookies are one of the things that make a happy and well rounded childhood.

they have sugar and flour in them which both create yeast problems inside your body and the sugar rots your teeth. however, if they are zucchini cookies or something similar then they would be better. a good sugar substitute is Xylitol. it actually is good for you, because it is alkaline and promotes healthy teeth.
