∙ 14y agoNot all hamsters are nice, at first he or she might bite you or nibble at your finger but if you get to know your hamster and your hamster gets to know you he or she will stop biting and will start to build trust in you. There are no other hamsters I know that are nice.

∙ 14y agoYes, it's just another name of calling them:). As well as Golden Hamsters, Syrian hamsters are also sometimes referred to as teddy bear hamsters (long haired syrian hamsters), alien hamsters (hairless syrian hamsters), black bear or european black bear (black syrian hamsters). They are all variations in colour/coat of the same species of hamster. I believe all hamsters are from Syrian so they all have a common ancestry
Syrian hamsters are good to keep for older and more responsible children. Parents should also be mindful that Syrian hamsters may nip or bite if they do not wish to be bothered.
not really but you can go to a shelter and also you can get a other breed of hamsters.
A Syrian Hamster is a normal hamster and yes
Old Hamsters are Lazy, also have bad teeth then usual
There is lots like, Syrian, Chinese dwarf hamster, Campbells dwarf hamster, Robo dwarf hamster, Russian hamster. My favorite, is the blueberry campbells dwarf hamster and the Syrian hamster. They are the sweetest and easy to hold. NOT THE ROBO"S!!!
This question may have several answers because it is a debatable topic. I think it is hamsters because only 2 people out of 20 in my class have guinea pigs, but 10 out of 20 have hamsters! Guinea pigs and hamsters both make great pets, but the hamster is more popular. This doesn't mean it is a better pet, its just more commonly sold, owned and bred. -Joanna K.
A teddy bear hamster is a type of syrian hamster and can be identified usually by their golden fur. Russian dwarf hamsters are much smaller than syrian hamsters so it is easy to tell them apart
That would probably be Syrian hamsters. Dwarfs are also common but it depends on the store.
There are several different types of hamsters commonly kept as pets, including Syrian hamsters (also known as golden hamsters), dwarf hamsters (such as Roborovski, Campbell's, and Winter White), and Chinese hamsters. Each type has its own unique characteristics in terms of size, behavior, and care requirements.
syrian are nice if handled properly , teddybear hamsters are also very nice but also very timid dwarfs are downright mean though
Yes. Female hamsters, or girl hamsters, will also fight. They aren't any better with the fighting thing. Syrian hamsters of any gender will eat each other if put in one cage. Dwarf hamsters, on the other hand, can live with each other with a daily mini-quarrel.
