That all depends on how/why the fish died. Dead fish can float or sink when they die. A dead fish may float if the fishes swim bladder is filled with air or sink if it is not. None of this "sinking or floating" should ever be allowed to happen in an aquarium. Any dead fish should be removed immediately because the process of decomposition will create far too many poisons and foul the tank which may kill other fish.
It realy depends on what type of desease was given to the fish for it to die if it was just old age of a fight with another betta it would float and if its swim bladder has filled up with water it would of sunk but if it filled up with air he would have been belly up floating at the surface of the water and and gill desease would make the betta sink . i hope i helped with my knowledge on bettas .
flush it in the toilet... some ppl bury their fish
It dies.
When the betta fish feels threatened it flars opens its gils and frightens away the other fish.

No betta fish are carnivores.
Betta fish do not eat fish.
other Betta fish and the bigger fish.
Well, if you love your Betta fish, then it should live by itself. But if you add another Betta to your current Betta fish's tank, then they will start a fight because Betta Fish are Siamese fighting fish and if one Betta is in contact of another Betta, the possible reason would be a fight between them two.
A betta is a fish of the species Betta, especially Betta splendens, commonly known as the Siamese fighting fish.
