As a Brit I would say that most people call their evening meal dinner. Tea time is very old fashioned and involves Sandwiches and cakes at about 3-4 pm. The main meal form most of us is about 6 pm unless entertaining people other than family. And believe it or not we have meals that are healthy the majority of the time, not as described above..we have very eclectic tastes in food taken from all around the world......so there.
