In Britain, "Skittles" collectively is the game aka Nine Pins, from which 10-pin Bowling derives, and specifically is the name of the pins - which are shaped rather like bottles, not pills as in the photograph of the American sweets. I wonder how or why sweets made in the USA became apparently named after an English pub game?

Skittles Bubble Gum is a type of bubble gum made by Skittles that was released in 2004. A new type: Xtreme Fruit Gum was released in 2006. These are delicious gum, but sadly you cannot find them anymore. It's a shame.
