Food privdes all the nutrients that help an organism to:
-grow
-stay healthy
-repair tissues(in animals) or damaged parts of their "body" easily, whether it is a bacteria, a plant, or an animal.
Food also helps with respiration, especially glucose, which gets oxidised and is turned into carbon dioxide, which is excreted from the body in any for more oxygen.
Shelter, food
Food, Water, Shelter etc...
the habitat can provide enough food and water for the organism living on it
There are a number of things that a habitat should provide for an organism. A few of these things include abundant food, shelter, and a means of reproduction.
They provide oxygen, shelter and food for the organisms
Autotrouphs or green plants
An organism's habitat provides food, shelter, and resources such as water and space that are necessary for survival. It also offers protection from predators and harsh environmental conditions. The habitat influences the organism's behavior, reproduction, and overall well-being.
Proteins in food are genetically programmed to give energy to the organism which eats them once digested, broken into its simplest form( amino acids ) and assimilated into the organism's system. The proteins however, in an organism are meant to either to provide structural strength and integrity to muscles or to digest food.
An organism that can provide a source of energy for a virus or another organism is called a host. The host organism can provide resources and nutrients necessary for the growth and reproduction of the virus or another organism that depends on it for survival.
A organism's niche determines three different things. The three things that are determined are where the organism lives, where it is on the food web and the food the organism eats.
Plants are the primary producers that directly or indirectly provide food for the majority of organisms through processes like photosynthesis. They form the base of the food chain, with herbivores consuming plants and then being consumed by carnivores and other organisms.
To be considered food, a substance must provide nourishment, such as energy, essential nutrients, and sustenance to support life functions and promote growth and health in an organism. Food should be safe for consumption and be able to be metabolized by the body to fulfill its nutritional requirements.
