If all the lettuces in to the world died, that would disturb the food chain. No lettuces mean no rabbits, and no rabbits mean other hungry animals. for example, snails eat lettuce so if there is no lettuce, they could go extinct. And if that one specific animal goes extinct, then another will starve and also could have the potential to go extinct.
