Pimentos are actually just a form of sweet pepper that are smaller is size than bell peppers, are typically either round or conical in shape, and have really thick flesh. Their seeds look identical to the pepper seeds you find mixed in with a jar of red Chile pepper flakes at your local pizzeria.
