Guinea fowl are excellent exterminators, they kill pretty much every kind of insect they can, are especially known for decreasing the tick population. They also like certain grasses, sunflower seeds, wild bird seed, millet, and thrive well when allowed to forage for insects and given chicken feed, game bird feed, scratch grains or the like.
