I believe Swiss cheeses along with French and Italian cheeses are the best in comparison to other regions or countries. All three have a huge variety of different cheeses with various textures and tastes. While other countries like Greece (Feta cheese) or Holland(Tillsiter, etc...) also have very refined cheeses, no other countries except Switzerland, France, and Italy have as many types that are known and appreciated worldwide. In the end it is a question of preference but one cannot deny that all three countries mentioned above are one of the best if not the best.
Depends on your preference. Most people would say France, but some people prefer the softer cheeses of Mexican Culture or Italian cheeses such as Buffalo Mozzarella.
I would say France.

Roulé is a french cheese which has been rolled out spread in garlic and herbs and rolled back up again like a Swiss roll. Roquefort is a classic French cheese, a blue cheese, from the southern end of that country. It's one of the best.
Feta is not a place, it is a cheese made in many countries, principally Greece.
