My male betta fish has a bloated stomach and stays at the bottom of his tank and hardly eats There are also lots of air bubbles floating at the top of the tank what is wrong with him?

Your fishes water is ROTTEN and should have been replaced ages ago. You are killing your fish by NEGLECT. Do a water change ASAP and you just may save its life. The basic rules for keeping any fish successfully are as follows. 1 inch of fish must have at least 1 gallon of water. (A Betta is a 3 inch fish so it needs at least 3 gallons.) Every tank must have a permanently running 'cycled' filter. Every tank must have at least 50% of its water replaced every week.
