No, I should think quite the opposite. Kale is rich in iron and minerals. Gout comes from rich foods most often, such as creams and fatty foods.

americans and many Caribbean islands cook kale using large amounts of pork fat and salt. In that case, a kale dish of that variety would be compared to drinking a dinner of fatty cream...so don't! :-)

Those prone to kidney stones should avoid high oxalate foods or consume them in very small amounts.

Green beans are high oxalate, so yes they would be bad in large amounts.
