If eating a lot of junk food, then that would produce a lot of fat in your body, therefore affecting the way your body looks, as well, to be larger. Limiting junk would also limit the amount of fat your body produces to a certain extent. Not eating anything at all would make you immensely skinny, and might also affect your daily actions, a.k.a vomiting, feelings of weakness, re-occurring headaches, and such.
