Hamsters can get hiccups but they will just go away, like humans hiccups, to get rid of my hiccups i do a headstand and hold my breath. But obviously, a hamster cannot do that. So just give them fresh water, give them some food then it should be fine.
hamsters very rarely get the hiccups but if they do, it is caused by a particle of dust on their lung, their lung has a spasm and tries to get it off
By the way, you wouldn't notice if your hamster had the hiccups anyway :)
