1 1/3 cups oatmeal
To make ground oatmeal, place one or more cups of Quaker Quick or Old Fashioned oats into a food processor or blender. Process for 1 minute, stopping to stir occasionally. Store unused (dry) oat flour in a covered container as you would wheat flour.
1:2 oatmeal to water for a really thick oatmeal, 1:3 for a thinner one. I usually use 1:3 since you can always cook it for longer to thicken.
1/2 cup of oatmeal is 1 cup of cooked oatmeal... so 3/4 of a cup is 1.5 cups of cooked oatmeal.
Oatmeal with brown sugar:) Directions- 1. Put 1/3 cup of Oatmeal in a bowl. 2. Put about 2/3 cup of water in bowl. 3. put in microwave for 50 seconds if you want it chewy or one minute and 20 seconds for it softer. 4. put 2-3 spoonfuls of brown sugar in bowl of oatmeal. Make sure you watch your oatmeal in the microwave because it might boil over. Enjoy!!
