1/2 cup of spenda
24 packets of splenda equals a cup.
i have a splenda bag and they say that it is a 1:1 ratio, meaning 1 tablespoon sugar =1 tablespoon splenda, and that it can be used to replace sugar in any recipe. By volume it's the same ratio, but is different by weight, because splenda is lighter.
One cup of Splenda equals one cup of cane sugar.
Honey is definitely better for you. White sugar is bleached and void of alll nutrients. Splenda has aspartame which many believe to be harmful for you. Honey is filled with natural nutrients (if you buy pasteurized then some of the bacteria and nutrients have been burned away). It also has lots of great minerals, vitamins and is a natural and pure source of energy/sugar!
Just substitute the sugar in your recipe with honey, splenda, equal or whatever sweetener you want.
Without some form of sweetener, cookies would be called crackers or biscuits. Options besides sugar or Splenda include honey, molasses, Stevia and the various "artificial sweeteners."
15g of honey is equal to 2 teaspoons of honey
Splenda is an artificial sweetener.
Roughly 48 packets to equal one U.S. Measuring cup
Identical to ordinary sugar. However Splenda tastes more bitter to me than sweet, I won't us any.
