Figure 8 servings per dry pound of spaghetti. For 35 servings, then, you'd need
8 servings x N pounds = for 35 people
N = 4.375 lbs. of spaghetti
So you need to buy 5 pounds of spaghetti to serve 35 people.
Personally, I don't think 8 servings per pound is enough for each person. I like spaghetti too much. I would personally figure 5 servings per pound. That would mean:
5 servings x N pounds = for 35 people
N = 7 lbs. of spaghetti.
But maybe I'm too much of a piggy about it!
Just throw as much as you want in.
About 25 pounds. I feed them 5-6 oz portions.
Unless you are planning on cooking it, i wouldn't feed a dog raw meat.
It depends how much you feed it
An average serving would be between 4 to 6 ounces, you will need about 90 pounds. how much cabbage and mayonaise will i need to buy?
90 to feed a family of 3 for a week => 30 to feed one for a week => 30*5 to feed a family of 5 for a week ie 150. However, this assumes that it costs the same to feed adults and children in a family (unlikely), and that there are no economies of scale (also unlikely).
To determine the amount of baked beans needed to feed 90 people as a side dish, we must first establish a serving size. A typical serving of baked beans is around 4 ounces. With 16 ounces in a pound, this means each person would need 0.25 pounds of baked beans. Therefore, to feed 90 people, you would need 22.5 pounds of baked beans (90 people x 0.25 pounds/person).
90 degrees
The word Spaghetti came from the Italian plural of spaghetto, diminutive of spago, "thin rope." It entered the English language round 1885-90
90%. Divide 27 by 30. You get .9 or 9/10 or 90/100
alot
In the 1960's a US farmer was feeding around 90 people. Today in 2011 it is around 155.
