It always helps in this type of question if you say it is a main meal or a starter
- As a main pasta dish I would usually start with 4 oz of dry pasta per person. With the swelling of pasta and sauce, this will become 12-14 ounces of food per serving.-( So for 60 people, 15 pounds dry pasta) - Half this amount for a starter.

∙ 12y agoMinimum 10 lbs. Standard serving size is 2 oz. (dry uncooked weight), which isn't terribly much, especially for kids approaching or in adolescence. 10 lbs would give 80 relatively small servings, so I would suggest 12-15 lbs to be safe.
