Cake has little nutritional value. It is almost always high in sugars, fats, saturated fats, simple / white / refined carbohydrates, sodium / salt, and is generally high in calories. It does nto contain much dietary fiber, protein, vitamins, or minerals.
A piece of cake is however much you want or deserve.

There's no such thing as too much fiber provided that you're eating the whole foods which contain the fiber. You will get the ideal amount of fiber with the ideal amount of water to flush it, the ideal amount of protein (~10% of calories), the ideal amount of protein (~10%.) All plants have fiber. Animal products do not have fiber.
You will save some calories, but not too much over all. Instead, you will add some sugars and a gram or so of fiber, but you will significantly cut out a lot of fat, too.
