Young Oscars should be fed as often as they will eat. As they were growing I used to feed mine a heap of earthworms and small fish 4 times a day. They need to keep their tummies full if you want them to reach their full potential and do it quickly. When they are fully grown (about 16 to 18 inchs long) then a good feed morning and evening is OK. The most important thing with Oscars it to keep their water pristine and follow the basic rules. The basic rules for keeping any fish successfully are :- 1 inch of fish needs at least 1 gallon of water. (2 Oscars need a 6 foot standard tank). Every tank needs a permanently running cycled filter. :- A six foot tank needs around 15% of its water replaced every week. If you stick to the above rules, your Oscars can survive reasonably well provided you also provide them with the correct temperature (80F) and other water parameters (pH 6.5 to 6.8.) If you fail to provide all the above I can guarantee that your fish will be constantly getting sick and will die sooner than they should.
well you should probably only feed it once or twice a day but if you over feed it. it will cause health problems so just feed it once a day and it should be fine hope i helped.
At least once a day
sometimes is okay
You can feed them frozen fish foods, Oscar pellets, and flakes. IT is best you feed them a variety of foods rather than just one.
You should feed them every two days
