Depending of serving size 3oz 25 pounds 4 oz servings 33 pounds this would be for kernel corn, if ears are to be used each ear typically is 8 to 10 oz and can be cut in half to serve 2 people so at most for ears your looking at 40 pounds of corn on the cob remembering of course much of the weight is waste of the cob it's self. If ears are to be used add 25 percent for greenage and stalk and we are up to an average of 49 to 50 pounds of corn on the cob for 130 people. hope this helps, Glenn
This would depend on what KIND of corn you are serving. If it is on the cob (or ears of corn) you would figure one ear per person, adding several additional, for back up. If you are speaking of whole kernel, creamed corn, or shoe peg corn, the typical serving size is 3-4 ounces per person. There are 16 ounces in a pound, which would mean you would need 66-88 pounds of corn to feed 350 people.

Beans and spam and stuff like that... Many many foods are canned, as it is a method to preserve and ship a food. Everything from fruits (ex: canned peaches) and vegetables (canned tomatoes), to meats (canned ham) and seafood (canned tuna fish); even dairy (canned milk).
There are: * Approx 23 calories in 1 oz (28g) of canned, drained, sweet, yellow, whole kernels * Approx 22 calories in 1 oz (28g of canned, vacuum pack, sweet, yellow, corn.
that is about 2 cups
There are approximately 3.33 cups in a pound of dry feed corn.
Well, honey, if you want to feed 40 people with frozen corn, you'll need about 10 pounds of the stuff. Just toss it in a pot, heat it up, and watch those hungry folks chow down. And if anyone complains, just tell them to shuck it up!
I believe to feed 200 they will always go back for more especially with my family. but to satisfy 200 people i believe it is about 10-15 pounds of kernel corn it would go with the 15 though that would be my guess.:)
