RecipeZaar (Deb's Recipe) noted that 3 cups boneless chicken breasts diced = about 1-1/2 lbs. but I'm not sure how many chicken breasts that is. Since the weight of a boneless chicken breast depends upon its size, it is difficult to know how many cups two of them equals. A typical sized chicken breast portion seems to be around 3-4 oz., and there are some huge chicken breasts available, typically sold 4 to a package fresh. I think these weigh around 6-8 oz. each.
Having said all of that, I just measured 2 cups (cubed/diced) using three boneless chicken breasts (each weighing 3-4 oz.). Hope this is helpful.
1 cup equals 1 small boneless half breast. That is a quarter of a chicken.
I had the same question and found this info online. The last line is what helped me the most. Hope that helps! Well, honey, it typically takes about 2 medium-sized chicken breasts to make 2 cups of shredded chicken. Of course, it depends on the size of the breasts and how shredded you want them, but that's a good rule of thumb. So, grab those breasts and get shredding!
On average, one pound of boneless, cooked chicken will yield about 2 to 2.5 cups when diced or shredded.

That depends on the size of the chicken breast and whether you mean chopped/diced/cubed chicken breast, shredded chicken breast, or ground chicken breast. In addition, do you mean raw or cooked chicken breast? Please feel free to ask the question again and include more detail.
This depends on what else you are preparing to do with it, ie make curry or similar. If the chicken is to be the meat portion of a meal, I would use 6 - 7 pounds of chicken breast
100 grams of chicken is equal to 0.422 cups of chicken. A cup of chicken is equal to 236.59 grams of chicken.

According to several different websites, a 3 pound chicken yields about 4 cups of cooked chicken. Of course, it depends on how good you are at getting the meat off the chicken, and you can also use the carcass to bake a nourishing chicken broth.
