depends on the type of liquor and whether you are asking about "optimal flavor" vs "safety in consuming".
High alcohol content beverages (hard liquors) do not have an expiration date and can be kept indefinitely if stored in a cool place out of direct sunlight. My favorite cognac has been cask aged for 75 years before it's ever bottled and sent to the store. A bottle could be opened and consumed over the rest of your lifetime with no ill effects.
There are some hard liquors that have food additives (chocolate, fruit, etc...) that may lose some of their flavor or oxidize and pick up undesirable flavors, but again, they should be safe to consume decades after you open them. Many of these will list a "best consumed by" date for freshness and optimal flavor.
Other Alcoholic Beverages like wine or beer do not last long once opened and exposed to the air. Once uncorked, a wine will last a couple of days if you put the cork back in, or a couple of weeks if you have a good vacuum pump and rubber stopper system.
If you open a beer, and let it sit long enough to go flat, you should be killed... and then beaten severely.... and then killed again.
Hope that helped.
Distilled spirits (liquor) last indefinitely.
Unopened, the liquor should last for several years. However, once it is opened, it should last about a year, just as long as you are sure to store it in a cool and dark place, like a pantry or liquor cabinet. Even unopened, I would still recommend keeping it away from too much light and heat.
yes. liquor can burn, as long as it is over 65% alcoholic volume.

If the bottle is unopened then it can last as long as you want it to, but I personally wouldn't drink it after having for more than 9 months or so.
Unopened liquor will expire eventually. It will last much longer unopened than it will when it is opened and exposed to air.
No, just as long as the establishment that she works at has a valid license.
Unopened, no. Opened, after 5 or so years.
