Do you have a 600 watt MV or 1200 watt? Six minutes maybe if you are going to slice and fry it. Depends on the size too. Best nuke it and check it with a fork after the first cooking and go on high for a minute several more times until you get it to your hearts desire. Rememember or write down the size and the total time needed to cook for later reference.
It depends on the size of the potato. I would cut a criss cross on the top and microwave it for about 10 minutes give or take depending on the size. You can also put it in a small bowl of water to speed things up. The steam will allow it to cook quicker. You do lose many of the vitamns and minerals when microwaving though.
You can but it is not necessary.
The first thing you will want to do when cooking a sweet potato in a convectional oven is to preheat the oven to 375 and put the sweet potato in a baking pan. Cook the sweet potato for a half hour. Take the sweet potato out and stab it with a fork a couple of times. Cook the sweet potato for another half hour.
About 6 minutes if you wrap in cling wrap. Turn acter 3 minutes.
In the oven 1 to 1 1/2 hours In a microwave 8 to 10 minutes and they are just as good as if they were cooked in a oven.
Yes! It is possible to cook a sweet potato in the microwave. I have not conducted this experiment though i know that it is possible though the results may not be suitable for eating since if you take a sweet potato and plop it in the microwave whole, there is a large chance the outside wil get burnt and the inside cold or slightly warm. you are welcome :) Although its possible, its not advised since microwaves can destroy vitamins and minerals.
A potato wrapped in paper will cook in a microwave oven, because paper does not block microwaves. A potato wrapped in aluminum foil would not cook in a microwave because aluminum foil does block microwaves.
Microwave it. Microwaves are your friend.
you cook it in somebody's bon bons
Depending on the size of the sweet potato, you would bake 35 to 45 minutes. Check for doneness and bake longer if needed. Larger potatoes require longer to get done.
Cakes cannot be baked in the microwave. Baked goods require dry heat, which a microwave doesn't provide. Microwave ovens cook by generating moist heat, so everything cooked in them is essentially steamed.
In a oven 1 to 1 1/2 hours at 300 degrees in microwave on high for 10 minutes.Which ever way you cook it poke holes in it with a fork.
If you cooked it in the oven, it would take longer to cook than in the microwave. I think that is the only way the potato is affected.
