Pineapple juice is a natural anti-inflammatory food that does not have any side effects for most people. It is believed that drinking large amounts of the juice before having wisdom teeth pulled will reduce swelling.Personal Experiences:It worked for me. I drank lots of pineapple juice for the five days before the surgery, and I'm still drinking it almost a week after. People have commented on the fact I never went "chipmunk". I had an easy surgery, three teeth, all erupted, none difficult to remove. If your teeth are impacted or complicated, it may not have such an effect.
Drink lots of pineapple juice or eat an entire pineapple the day before you want it sweetened...
Clarified pineapple juice is a natural pineapple juice which gets filtered to remove the pulp. The taste and texture of clarified pineapple juice is more refined. Many brands prefer to have a clarified pineapple juice for canning purposes.

Drinking something containing only 4% pineapple juice should not cause you any harm. It is only contemplated if pineapple or pineapple juice can cause any effects. The effects that are being debated are not severe though. Pineapple/pineapple juice is something that can easily be avoided for 9 months and I can never judge anyone ill for taking precautions to the highest extent while pregnant but if you do choose to eat pineapple or drink it's juice I think you will probably be fine. I also would say that there should not be any effects caused from a drink that contained only 4%.
