you should leave them alone and let them fight it out, if the fighting continues for more than a couple minutes, separate them.
If it happens again put the crabs in time out, they will eventually learn that fighting is not allowed
You can protect your hermit crab by keeping a several shells in the cage for it to grow into because it protects them from a lot of things and if you have more than one crab when yhey molt which is when they lose their legs and shed for a month you should keep them from your other crabs
