For a strawberry smoothie (I use a Magic Bullet, so this recipe would make about 16 oz (or 2 cups)):

-Add a handful of fresh/frozen strawberries (if they are small, you may need to use more)

-About 5 ice cubes (or more, if you like)

-A very small splash of milk (optional)

-A small splash of water

Then Blend it Together

-Try it, and if it doesn't really taste like much, add some sugar, and you can just stir that in as you like

-I know this probably sounds a little strange, but add some lime, whether it be crystallized (like the True Lemon/Lime company) or fresh. You don't need a lot, so, like the sugar, you can just stir that in until you want to stop. You don't absolutely need to add lime, but I've found that it gives the smoothie a nice flavor that most people aren't able to pinpoint.

-Finally, put the smoothie in a glass, add a straw (if you want to), maybe even one of those little umbrella toothpicks, and enjoy!

You either need a load of fruits or juices that have protein in them, or a tablespoon of peanut (or another type of nut) butter, ground seeds or use powdered egg whites, or raw egg white, although 1 in 10,000 eggs are infected with salmonella within the eggshell, so it pays to find out if there's a threat in your area before trying this.

You can replace the yogurt with vanilla ice-cream.

A smoothie is usually with yogurt, not ice cream because then it's a milkshake. No, then it would just be sugary juice.
